Let's face it, who doesn't want to be "happier" in life? Last year I came across this post on 20 Small Ways To Be Happier This Year on NotesFromJoanna.com -- a wonderful blog about living a better and more fulfilling life--or as Joanna puts it... a more "wholehearted" life. I love not just the message of her blog, but also the look of it... it immediately has a calming, peaceful effect. And I love how she breaks down goals on a month by month basis.

Is there anyone who doesn't want to be "happier" in life? Yet for many happiness seems to be very elusive. I long ago came to the conclusion that a constant state of happiness is not something most of us can achieve or probably even should aspire to achieve (if we don't want total frustration to set in).
Nonetheless, there are things we can do throughout our daily lives that contribute to a sense of happiness and general well-being. As with many things in life, it's not some grandiose act, but a series of small acts and steps that achieve a larger purpose.
