It's National Lipstick Day today, July 29th! I can't believe I almost missed it! For many adolescent girls, lipstick is often the very first cosmetic they are allowed to wear.... I know it was for me. Back in my day, it was the Bonne Belle Lip Smackers our parents let us wear (pale pink)! I haven't seen a Bonne Belle Lip Smacker in over 40 years. Wasn't even sure they still made them.... so I Googled Bonne Belle... and found the sad news that the company discontinued it's iconic Lip Smackers in 2015.
