Having a professional home inspection whether you are a first time buyer or not is "cheap insurance" when you are buying an asset worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. Why take a chance that you have someone looking at your home who isn't familiar with local code, the latest issues, etc.? It's truly penny wise and pound foolish!
