Charlotte's Ballantyne area was hot, hot, hot for home buyers in 2013. Some weeks ago I wrote about the fact that Charlotte's 28277 zip code which encompasses the Ballantyne area was one of the five most search zip codes in the country.
2013 numbers for Ballantyne's housing market and home sales don't disappoint and lend plenty of credence to the fact that this remains a high demand (i.e., hot, hot hot) area for home buyers.

Charlotte's Ballantyne area is the hot spot for south Charlotte home buyers according to an article in the Charlotte Business Journal earlier this week. We Realtors®, who work in Charlotte's Ballantyne area have known this for quite a while. And to those of us, like myself, who have lived in Ballantyne since before there was a single traffic light in the entire area and who have watched the area "explode" this is not news in and of itself.
