The RE/MAX National Housing Report for April 2018: "Rising Prices, Fewer Sales Driven by Record-Breaking Low Inventory" was this month's headline. As the report stated: "If you are looking for a new home, chances are you’re not finding many homes on the market. If you’re a seller, you have likely noticed the value of your home is rising — no matter what part of the country you live in.When the Months Supply of Inventory falls below six months, it’s a seller’s market, and all 54 metro areas surveyed for the monthly housing reported under six months (38 comments)
Charlotte, NC Region Housing Market Update: February 2018
The Charlotte region's housing market ended the second month of 2018 with home prices up, closed and pending sales up as compared with February 2017. Both average and median sale prices were up in February 2018. Inventory and the months supply of homes remain low and below what they were one year ago.
February 2018 Closed Sales: up 3.4% versus February 2017. Year-to-date, closed sales were up 3.4%. February 2018 Pending Sales: up 8.3% versus February 2017 and up 8.7% year-to-date. February 2018 Average List Price: increased 3.9% to just over $328,000 versus February 2017. Year-to-date, average list (22 comments)
