Keeping Your Pets Safe During The July 4th Celebrations
Did you know more pets get lost on July 4th than any other day of the year? Dogs (and cats) are frightened by fireworks, explosions and loud noises and try to run away to safety. Many then can't seem to find their way home. So keep it a "pet-friendly" holiday and just in case one of your four-legged family members does run away, make sure they all have easy to spot identification on them.

Remember the many sacrifices made by those who serve in our military and by their families to help preserve what we are celebrating this weekend--our independence and our freedoms! Without these selfless heroes throughout our history, we might not be celebrating an Independence Day this weekend. We tend to refer to this holiday as July 4th, but let's not forget it "started life" as Independence Day and that what we are celebrating is not July 4th, but our indepence!
