As if there isn't enough to celebrate on December 24th, I'm still trying to figure out who decided December 24th would be a great day to celebrate chocolate. Although, there are some who celebrate National Chocolate Day on December 28th (sometimes referred to as International Chocolate Day) and others on October 28th. Today is National Chocolate Day! For me, as a card-carrying "chocoholic," EVERY day should be (and is) celebrated as Chocolate Day! I totally subscribe to the idea that life is short, so I should not only eat my chocolate first, but also eat more of it! And as Charles Schultz famously said: "All you need is love. For those of you who weren't aware, today is National Chocolate Day! Of course, in my book EVERY DAY should be Chocolate Day if not a full national holiday! Afterall, isn't chocolate one of the primary food groups? And if it isn't, it sure should be!
And lately, we've been hearing that dark chocolate is actually a "super food " with tons of health benefits.
