Ballantyne Housing Market Update for January 2019.  January home sales in the Ballantyne (28277 zip code) area of Charlotte, North Carolina saw a second month of a shift from trends we had been seeing throughout most of 2018. Sales prices were down, days on market were up, inventory was up, closed sales were down. It remains to be seen if this is the beginning of a market shift or simply a winter slowdown, as pending sales were up by 6.8% and new listings remained low.
