Second Quarter 2019 York County, South Carolina home sales kept the county a seller's market with just 2.2 months of inventory. York County includes the cities and towns of Clover, Catawba, Fort Mill, Lake Wylie, Rock Hill, Tega Cay, and York.
 
During the second quarter of 2019, York County saw both inventory and months supply of homes decrease  compared with the same time frame one year ago. Days on market were up to 43 days, but down 6 days compared with the first quarter of 2019.  Closed sales increased 11.5% year-ove-year. During the first quarter of 2019, York County saw inventory and months supply of homes decrease  compared with the same time frame one year ago. Days on market were flat, with homes selling in 49 days on average. Closed sales decreased, at least in part due to lack of affordable inventory. 4th quarter 2018 Charlotte, North Carolina region’s home sales continued the trends we’ve seen since 2015. Home buyers are finding the housing market very competitive with higher home prices and a lack of properties to buy. Buyers looking for a bargain are “hard pressed” to find one. Meantime, home sellers continue to sell their homes relatively quickly and for top dollar, when priced right for condition and location.
