Readington Township is a township located in Hunterdon County, NJ. It includes the unincorporated community of Whitehouse Station. The Township was incorporated as Readingtown Township, one of New Jersey's initial group of 104 townships, on February 21, 1798. The Readington Township Public Schools serve students in grades kindergarten through grade eight and students in grades 9-12 attend Hunterdon Central Regional High School, named Blue Ribbon School by the United States Department of Education in 2002.
