The market is definitely busy! I see buyers losing their dream homes because they don't get a detailed preapproval entailing the loan officer to view pays tubs and tax returns in addition to the credit report. There are changes in self employed qualifications and a good loan officer will also let the realtor and purchaser know what property taxes they need to look at.
