For those of you who were concerned about my finding the man at the bottom of the stairs on 4/14 in my recent Blog, his daughter called me with overwhelming gratitude for my finding him when I was delivering food to him on behalf of the Meals on Wheels program. She reported that they found his leg broken in two places and had put in a rod. His ankle was also injured and required a pin. He is now in a nursing home in Edina where his wife is living with Alheimer's disease and will probably be there for several months. I continue to … (1 comments)

This is a response I made regarding a Blog discussion in Real Town's Real Talk. In the 32 years I've been a Realtor in the Lake Minnetonka area of Minneapolis, MN, I have always made it my priority to serve my listing clients by marketing their listings to the fullest degree and exposure to the most Realtors and prospects as soon as possible. I agree that it is nice to get both sides of the transaction, but those agents and/or Brokers, who make an effort (by various means) to sell it themselves or "in house" are doing a disservice to their clients, … (2 comments)
lake minnetonka area: EXCELSIOR HOTEL, LAKE MINNETONKA AREA, ANOTHER PROPOSAL COMING FORWARD

Once again the Excelsior City Council will be asked to approve a hotel on the corner of Lake and Water Streets. This was extremely controversial to the residents of Excelsior, Deephaven, Tonka Bay, and Shorewood among others when it was brought up last August about the prospect of change in their beloved City of Excelsior, MN. The application did not pass then, but now it's coming back again.
