The ability to set appointments on the fly is crucial in today's real estate and business world. I've always used the Gmail platform for this because its simple to open a browser window, add events, modify them, invite people, etc. But how about when your on the run with your iphone? Even with a shortcut on your phone, you still have to login to the phone browser and navigate to the calendar.
