The Phillips House Museum of the Village of Rockville Centre NY on 28 Hempstead Avenue is open, free to the public on Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m. and by appointment by calling 516-764-7459.
The museum, a sea captains house built in 1886, has period furnishings. Permanent displays include kitchen tools, wood working tools, toys, dolls and period glassware.
The trustees are always interested in exhibiting collections of local residents. If you have one you would like to share with the community on a temporary basis, please call 516-764-7459.
