rockville centre ny youth activities: POLICE EXPLORERS ROCKVILLE CENTRE NY

The Rockville Centre Police Department is looking for teenages between the ages of 14 and 20 to join the Explorers Program.
The Explorer Program offers young men and women the opportunity to experience the rewards of a police career.
Under the supervision of police officer advisors, explorers assist the police department at special events such as parades and public gatherings. They are also invited to participate in the ride-a-long program where they can experience responding to calls for service and are exposed to radio operating procedures. Also they can experience paperwork and report writing.
