homes in tyler: Is the Mob back in Vegas? - 08/30/09 02:04 AM
On Wednesday, before he addressed a Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce luncheon, Reid joined the chamber's board members for a meet-'n'-greet and a photo. One of the last in line was the Review-Journal's director of advertising, Bob Brown, a hard-working Nevadan who toils every day on behalf of advertisers. He has nothing to do with news coverage or the opinion pages of the Review-Journal.
Yet, as Bob shook hands with our senior U.S. senator in what should have been nothing but a gracious business setting, Reid said: "I hope you go out of business."
Later, in his public speech, … (5 comments)

homes in tyler: Where is Nancy Pelosi? - 08/29/09 06:28 AM
I have to give credit to the Democrats that went home and faced the music in live Town Hall meetings. Bravo, even if I disagree with you and I do, I think that was a good move.
I do have a question though, where is Nancy Pelosi? I have challenged her to a debate with no response. She has successfully demonstrated that as a leader she is good at hiding.
I thought leaders were supposed to lead by example? Is anyone surprised?
I'm not.

homes in tyler: Who said it, Part 3 - 08/29/09 06:11 AM
It's time that America's government lived by the same values as America's families. It's time we invested in America's future and made sure our people have the skills to compete and thrive in a 21st century economy. That's what Democrats believe.
The American people do not like privatization. They are afraid of the debt the president's willing to do. And they don't like benefit cuts. And everyone here should understand all 45 Senate Democrats are united. We are not going to let this happen.

homes in tyler: Tell me who said it part 2 - 08/27/09 10:02 AM
Every month that we do not have an economic recovery package 500 million Americans lose their jobs.
I will not be making appointments to a committee that is not bipartisan.
Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process.
I have absolutely no regret about my vote against this war. The same questions remain. The cost in human lives, the cost to our budget, probably 100 billion. We could have probably brought down … (3 comments)

homes in tyler: Tell me who said it! - 08/27/09 09:29 AM
Can you tell me who said it? One man said them all!
A nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people.
Communism has never come to power in a country that was not disrupted by war or corruption, or both.
Conformity is the jailer of freedom and the enemy of growth.
Domestic policy can only defeat us; foreign policy can kill us.

homes in tyler: What? No legal reform? - 08/27/09 08:52 AM
Thousands of pages in a health care bill and not a single sentence on tort reform. I guess they figure you can't sue "City Hall".
I bet Nancy and Harry sneak in a Gulf-stream or two in the final revised version.
Now they go after the CIA as a distraction. Smart move you guys. Most citizens in America don't care what it takes to get information that might save an American soldiers life.
Have you thought about going after farmers for growing crops?

homes in tyler: They have chosen a side! - 08/27/09 08:15 AM
After a couple of days visiting with good hard working Real Estate professionals, I have come to one inescapable conclusion.
This administration and it's mouth pieces on the hill are $%^&*&^ nuts!!.I have not meet a single person in favor of anything Hussein Obama and his party are pushing on the public. Not one.
I have meet several, who voted for Obama that would never and will never, vote for him again. Those who voted for him feel betrayed and lied too. Ya Think!
It took this administration and the socialist, elitist group on the hill just about 8 months to … (9 comments)

homes in tyler: So much for plan/lie "A" - 08/27/09 08:03 AM
Jan. 10 (Bloomberg) -- President-elect Barack Obama said his two-year plan to boost the U.S. economy will generate as many as 4 million jobs, higher than his previous estimates, the biggest portion of them in construction, manufacturing and retail.
WASHINGTON, July 14 (Reuters) - U.S. President Barack Obama will say in Michigan, a state hard-hit by the downturn in the car industry, that some auto industry jobs that have been lost will not be returning.
And the best for last!

homes in tyler: I like this. - 08/27/09 01:20 AM
In this world we have today, it's great to see so many in our profession come together in one place. As most of you know I am a Team Leader at Keller Williams in Tyler Texas. I am in Austin Texas for the once a year training get together called Mega Camp. I visited with a lot of folks yesterday from around our nation from several brands as well as KW and one thing is clear. Everyone is succeeding in spite of our nations problems
I talked to several hundred people and they were all independent business people and not one … (6 comments)

homes in tyler: Interview part 1 - 08/22/09 03:19 AM
The local NBC affiliate came out and Interviewed me and went on a showing with our top agent Kyle Smith. They are talking about existing family homes and airing different parts on the local news. I am glad to be apart of it. All of the segments are pretty good. Thanks KETK for coming by.
Take a look at:
We are growing in Tyler and having a blast in the process.

homes in tyler: Oh Yeah, these guys are good!!! - 08/20/09 05:06 AM
This administration can't handle 3 billion for old cars, how are they going to handle trillions for old people? Blame this one on Bush, you socialist liberals.
The administration has put thousands of Car dealerships on the verge of collapse and all they have is excuses. If you couldn't administer the program without crippling the local service provider, then why start it. I can't wait for the health care debacle. Then people will be dying instead of cars.
The Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association, which represents dealerships in the New York metro area, said about half its … (12 comments)

homes in tyler: Pretty Please, I will buy the beer afterward. - 08/20/09 03:44 AM
WOW, Big Brother is coming after us!
In a move some fear is a reprisal for opposing President Obama's health care plan, Democrats sent 52 letters to health insurers requesting financial records for a House committee's investigation.
Reps. Henry Waxman, D-Calif., and Bart Stupak, D-Mich., sent a letter warning health insurers that the House Energy and Commerce Committee is "examining executive compensation and other business practices of the health industry."
Waxman, chairman of the committee, and Stupak, chairman of the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee did not inform their Republican counterparts of their plans.
Robert Zirkelbach, spokesman for the American Health Insurance … (3 comments)

homes in tyler: Consistent in its support of the plan. - 08/18/09 05:48 AM
Who's on first, what's on second from Abbott and Costello come to mind.
The Obama administration on Tuesday insisted that "nothing has changed" about its support for a government-run health insurance plan, after liberal Democrats threatened to abandon a health care reform bill that doesn't include the so-called "public option."
Obama had earlier in the year described a public option as critical.
Sebelius said in an interview Sunday that the option is "not the essential element."
During a speech on Medicare Tuesday, Sebelius insisted the administration has been consistent in its support of the … (13 comments)

homes in tyler: Did you know that a new home purchase contributes over $50,000 to our economy? - 08/17/09 11:50 AM
Did you know that a new home purchase contributes over $50,000 to our economy? You have commissions, services, furniture and a whole host of other things.
It has been reported that the Cash for Clunkers program buyers, have much better credit than the normal car buying customer in the past. I know the administration is handling their end of the deal poorly, but the fact is, it worked to clear the shelves at car dealerships nationwide.
A new car purchase comes nowhere close to contributing the dollars that a home would.
So here is my new cash for homes program:

homes in tyler: You can't even lie worth a dang. - 08/17/09 08:56 AM
"Any bill without a public health insurance plan like Medicare is not health reform," said Rep. Barbara Lee, D-Calif., chairwoman of the Congressional Black Caucus. "Without a public option there will be no way to keep insurance companies honest and their rates down. A public health option that competes with private insurers will set standards that could help lower costs and improve access."
Well how do we keep you Socialist liberals honest with it?
Right now I trust the insurance companies more than I do politicians.
You can't even lie worth a dang. Your President says AARP backs the bill … (9 comments)

homes in tyler: Mortgage deliquency rate hits all time high in 2Q - 08/17/09 08:25 AM
How can that be? The administration has a Mortgage modification plan on the table and the big TARP recipients are showing massive profits and paying huge bonuses.
The delinquency rate on U.S. mortgage loans hit an all-time high in the second quarter of 2009.

Wow am I surprised!
I see the balance sheets of the biggest getting well and the common citizen on the street getting ignored. The election of 2010 can't come fast enough. I am ashamed of the way our money has been used to prop up arrogant self serving institutions and politicians. I mean really ashamed....

homes in tyler: Well, how are your Real Estate sales? - 08/17/09 03:05 AM
Well, how are your Real Estate sales? As school gets closer to starting, we are beginning to see some panic in Agents around the country that have struggled all summer without a plan. The agents who got their attitude right early and adapted have made money and will continue to make money.
If you had a plan, good for you, if not, there is still time. Sit down right now and right a simple one page plan of attack for the next 6 months.
Then put it where you have to see it everyday as a reminder of what needs … (1 comments)

homes in tyler: Well, I have the Golf bug again. - 08/16/09 07:59 AM
Well, I have the Golf bug again. I went out yesterday with my lovely wife Denise and played the Cascades which is the course we live on here in Tyler, Texas. To say I had fun, would be an understatement. I am not playing particularly well, but the fun is there and that is what matters. Since taking the Team Leader position at Keller Williams Tyler, Texas, I have begun to relax and enjoy the game I loved for years while my children were growing up. I have also found that golf is a great tool for recruiting  for the Market … (5 comments)
