realestate training: SO! - 01/06/10 09:25 AM
The Obama administration's decision to crank up airport security for passengers traveling to the U.S. from 14 nations has triggered a backlash of complaints from Muslim and privacy groups who say President Obama's response to terror threats amounts to little more than racial profiling.
But defenders of the policy say it's a carefully targeted way of zeroing in on those travelers most likely to pose a threat, and that hurt feelings shouldn't really matter after the United States narrowly averted, by sheer luck, a deadly midair bombing on an airliner heading to Detroit on Christmas Day.

Your upset because we … (5 comments)

realestate training: I am laughing my tail off! - 08/06/09 02:47 AM
I am laughing my tail off!
The conservatives are running the Democratic play book on town hall meetings and boy are the pissed!
The Liberal, Socialist, Democrats never said a word about Disruptions that were uncivil and clearly organized when Bush was President.
Move on . org, poured millions into smear and hatred campaigns and no one on that side of the aisle said a word.
Google never buried a single Democrat website when Bush was in power.
When bush was professionally made to look like the joker on Batman by a national publication, the liberals thought it was hilarious and … (6 comments)

realestate training: It's all about Energy Folks - 06/01/09 02:34 AM

The year was 1992 and a group of ultra liberal Senators and Congressman Lead by the pompous Barney Frank decided everyone deserved a home.  So that very year they mandated that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac begin to loan money for housing to less qualified borrowers with higher debt to income ratios than ever before. Add to this both Fannie and Freddie agreed to take lower down payments from these less qualified borrowers. Lawrence B. Lindsey who was a member of the board of governors of the Federal Reserve stated in 1992 that "The regulatory issues in the 1990s will … (8 comments)

realestate training: Just send me the Bill!! - 05/29/09 03:19 AM
Let's see, we've got 700 BILLION for the financial institutions and markets. Then there is 17 Billion for the auto makers. Both mismanaged the business they had and "we" the taxpayer now have to bail them out for the good of the whole economy. Well, how about the folks that had a good or in some case a great business plan and got the living crap kicked out of them because of the industries we are now bailing out. Guess what ladies and gentleman, none of that money will bail you and me out. It amounts to building another chicken house … (2 comments)

realestate training: Do not ever give up! - 05/11/09 01:59 AM
During the course of one of my very first training sessions we had a very nice lady who was new to the Real Estate business. After talking to her for a few minutes I began to realize that this was probably the most timid person I had ever met in my life. As most of you know I am a raging fool when I train. I love energy and I bounce all over the room and tell jokes and interact with everyone. But with this nice lady, I got nothing, zip, nada. Man, did ever feel like I let her … (7 comments)

realestate training: Be the very best, for you!! - 05/04/09 01:58 AM
You can build yourself into the most magnificent positive person in the universe but you would lack the depth to continue very long without a spiritual foundation. While I choose Christianity, you may have another choice that you feel suits you better. I will preach to you about almost everything, but religion is not one of them. That is a deeply personal choice in my opinion. However, I will tell you why my spiritual center is rooted in Christianity. I believe first and foremost that most Christian interpretations are positive in nature.
One of the basic covenants Christians live by is … (1 comments)

"If it's not fun, I'm not going to do it"

I am assuming that if your reading this you are in the real estate business and it's because that's what you chose to do. If I could give you one piece of advice it would be to figure out what your passion in life is and figure out how to succeed financially at it. I absolutely love having a real estate business and think motivating and training new Realtors is some of the most fun anyone can have. I feel rewarded everyday that I can help someone improve … (4 comments)

realestate training: Here comes the BULL! - 03/09/09 08:15 AM
Well folks the lowering of expectations has begun. Our newly elected Politico's are saying Economic recovery will take much longer than expected. What happened to all the rhetoric that was being sang during the election?
As stated in previous posts the mortgage problems began with the strong arming of both Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae back in 1992. When President Clinton and President Bush tried to tighten lending requirements Barney Frank and the gang wouldn't hear of it.
I also chronicled the rise in energy costs and its direct correlation to the foreclosures. When oil was at its highest price per … (1 comments)

realestate training: Today is the day! - 02/02/09 02:57 AM

Everyone has heard the expression "today is the first day of the rest of your life". We have all heard it time and time again and yet have any of us actually lived like it truly was the first day of the rest of our life. What are you doing today, right now; this second to ensure you will succeed the rest of your life? Ok you got me a little, I mean besides reading this. Are you helping with your son's or daughter's little league practice. Maybe you have a great book to read that will motivate you or … (2 comments)

I had cause for reflection recently. You see Blane Sheffield's father passed away after a very rough couple of years with his health. Blane has been our technical guru since almost day 1 and we could hardly function without him. Blane"s family is strong and very capable of dealing with this loss. We of course wish them well and pray for their peace and well being in this time of sorrow.  What this brought to my mind is the time my own father passed away not quite … (0 comments)

By: Terry Miller

At "Now What" we know dealing with the public on a daily basis sets you up for some pretty severe negative situations and people. One thing I have stressed for years is a very simple and even a bit corny little saying. I simply tell myself I am
SUPER!
And Here Is what it means!
Strength equals confidence.
 Under pressure I thrive.
Prepare don't panic.
Energy, bring it all day everyday.
Respect, earn it and demand it.

Pretty simple isn't it? Well, simple is easy to remember and put into practice. Keep your motivational … (0 comments)

Real Estate is like no other business I have ever encountered in my entire life of various companies and careers. This may come as a shock to some folks but I actually don't like Realtors. Truthfully, I can't stand the large majority of "so called" Realtors. Most of them are in real estate because they can't or won't work for anybody else. That being said I love real estate professionals. The … (5 comments)
