A new sport is gaining momentum on Lake Sammamish: Wake Surfing. This last weekend I had the opportunity to try Wake Surfing on Lake Sammamish. Thanks to the Eastgate Expounders(Toastmasters in Bellevue) summer BBQ our good friends Allison and Brian were kind & patient enough to teach many of us how to wake surf. Wake Surfing is where you stand up on a shortened surf board and surf the wake of a power boat. The power boat has ballast on one side and lists heavily to that side.
