Congratulations to the project team at The Ford Plantation for a job well done. Under the leadership of CEO Nick Cassala, exactly a year ago, the magnificent (but aging infrastructure) 20 year old Pete Dye Course closed for a total redesign. The club had raised reportedly in the region of $7-8 Million for the rebuild and the course was scheduled to be closed for exactly 12 months. About a week ago a heat pump failed at my rental home in Richmond Hill. I called Canady's Precision Air Conditioning and Heating to take a look at the problem and they determined that the unit was at the end of its useful life.
