Slaughter Road forms the boundary between Huntsville and Madison; Huntsville to the east and Madison to the West. Heading South on Slaughter Road will take you to Madison Blvd (aka Rte 20), while heading North will take you to US 72 (aka University Drive). North of US 72, Slaughter Road becomes Jeff Road. Are you following me so far? :) Just to confuse the issue a little further, some sections to the East of Slaughter Road have been annexed into Madison, while some sections to the West have been annexed into Huntsville.
