johnson county kansas: Prepping for a lull, using opportunity to get a home!
- 04/19/21 11:20 AM
So you just offered on your 5th house, your offer was $50,000 over list price, you agreed to take the home in as-is condintion and even agreed to make up any shortfall if the home doesn't appraise for what you offered. johnson county kansas: Go Red at Home!
- 02/08/12 09:14 AM
One of the great things about February is that we get to focus on the color red during what can be a gloomy, middle of winter month. Whether it’s increasing awareness of women’s heart disease with the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women or just enjoying the red hearts that come with Valentine’s Day, vibrant red is everywhere! However, here in the land of beige, otherwise known as Johnson County, there is no red to be found, or any other color, save brown and variations thereof, once we go home. Area home magazines seem to showcase the same living

johnson county kansas: Is your Johnson County Kansas home really ready for sale?
- 05/24/11 05:27 AM
Remember For Sale By Owner? Known as FSBO in the real estate business, these properties were abundant in Johnson County just a few years ago. The perception was the market was so great that homes virtually sold themselves. Owners simply needed a sign in the yard and the perfect buyer would appear. Fast forward to 2011 and the perception of the real estate market has changed dramatically, aided by national reports signaling a declining market hamstrung by too many properties and not enough buyers. What is the Truth? Yesterday’s market was not as sunny as it seemed and today’s is not

johnson county kansas: Sorry Johnson County Kansas Home buyers but it is actually a sellers market!
- 05/03/11 09:53 AM
I am sure that quite a few potential home buyers in Johnson County Kansas were surprised by that title but it is true. It is generally considered a buyers market when the supply of homes is greater than a six month supply based on the amount of homes selling on a monthly basis, less than six months is generally considered a seller market. So if the statistics show almost 8 months of supply
