Google made a landmark announcement yesterday, their long awaited 1 GB per second internet is now taking reservations for Kansas City Kansas and Kansas City Missouri Fiberhoods (their term for neighborhoods) It will cost $10 to reserve your space and you will have until September 9th to make your reservation. Google will have 3 separate plans that will include the super fast internet, cable TV and free internet at a slower speed. The Hampton Place subdivision in South Overland Park, Kansas just finished an amazing six months of home sales. The year started slowly but not for lack of interest. At the start of the year there were less than 10 homes available. However, as more homes became available the pace of sales really picked up fast. We are still experiencing low inventory in Hampton Place.
