oklahoma cotton: This Was Haskell Oklahoma in the Late 1960's

In the 1960's, they used to grow cotton in Haskell Oklahoma. This is a picture of me standing in a cotton field on a family vacation. I'm guessing I was probably 5 years old. Yeah, my family did that. We went on those kind of vacations where we stayed in cheapo Motels and stopped to take a a picture in a cotton field. We had the best family vacations. Haskell Oklahoma is a small town of around 2000 people. The Wikipedia page indicates that the first post office was established in Haskell in 1904. An article I found from Oklahoma State University indicates that by 1922 (9 comments)
