Well, we're off to a good start in 2008. We noticed a nice trend in showing activity during January - there were more buyers out looking. That's a good sign, especially for as cold as it's been. As of 2/12/08, YTD there have been 23 closings on properties in Owatonna. The average sale price of those properties was $169,506. The days on market for the sold properties were 180 days on average. Last night I was sitting all cozy on my couch with my laptop warming my legs while the Arctic blast howled outside around me. The outside temperature was hovering around -13 degrees, and if you were actually foolish enough to venture outside it would have felt like -35. Wow! What keeps us living in a place where you can lose body parts if you don't have them properly covered? After spending a few days watching and reading posts on Active Rain, I'm ready to take the plunge. So, here I go, with my very first blog post. I'm eager to learn from all of you, as I work to incorporate "new" internet marketing techniques in order to challenge myself and grow my business.
