The median home value in the area is approximately $711,714 and properties on the low end of the price spectrum sometimes get lost in the shuffle with the higher priced listings getting all the attention from their respective listing agents. Hello Everyone, I would have to agree that the best elementary schools in the area are those in the Palmetto School district located within the Village of Pinecrest, FL. The top schools are Pinecrest Elementary, Palmetto Elementary and Sunset Elementary. I hear nothing but good things from parents with children enrolled in the schools. I also hear of parents that don't live in the area trying to get their children enrolled by any means necessary, including lying about their address.
