Keep in touch, stay top of mind I am embarrassed to say that I don't do enough to stay in touch with clients other than the regular subscription to American Lifestyle Magazine and the holiday cards. These must work because of the repeat business I am enjoying. Counting my blessings every day. In 2016 and 2017, it seems that the vast majority of my clients have been those with whom I've closed transactions before, and the rest are referred to me. As of this writing, I have two former clients who are getting ready to list their respective homes that I sold to them. Really … (4 comments)

December 11 2011: Open House yields leads!Yes, I do open houses.....It all depends on the property, where it is, the market environment. I’m lucky enough to live in Alameda CA where open houses are generally well-attended, and where we are blessed with good weather. None of the extreme heat or extreme cold, and no prolonged stormy weather.Today was a good day. I’d like to think that people followed my signs which stood out because they had sparkly, flowing gold ribbons.
