Pine Bush School District residents who are interested in the youth of our district may want to attend a quarterly meeting of the Focus On Youth Initiative Committee. The next meeting is Wednesday March 4th at 9:00 AM at the Crawford Government Center on Route 302 just across from the high school. This committee has been instrumental in many local efforts to help the youth of the district. Circleville is a little gem of a village in the Town of Wallkill in Orange County NY. It was first settled in the 1790's by one lone settler. A famous early resident was Samuel Bull, a blacksmith who is said to have help forge the chain that was used to blockade the Hudson River during the Revolutionary War. The name of the village was proposed by Mrs. Mary Bull who liked the name of the town Circleville in Ohio she had heard of. The local post office was established in 1850.
