Winterizing your cabin/vacation home is an important step to make sure that it stays cozy and dry as outdoor temperatures dip. 
Failing to winterize your home can result in problems like water leaks, bursting pipes, and structural damage. 
These tips are provided to aid you, the homeowner, in winterizing your home/cabin.  While no one can guarantee against frozen/broken pipes,  it is  important that you take steps to prevent that from happening.  The purpose of winterizing your cabin/vacation home is to remove water, which can freeze, from within the pipelines and other areas on site.

OK guys-here is a great desert for a warm summer nite. Add a little whipped cream to this soupy textured dessert and enjoy.
8 oz. strawberry banana yogurt
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 quart strawberry puree or 1 quart fresh cut strawberries
4 fresh cut strawberries
Put all ingredients (except the last 4 strawberries) in a blender
Set blender to puree for a couple of minutes
Pour the mixture in a bowl and wrap the bowl with plastic wrap.
Place in refregerator for 30-60 minutes to cool.
Add fresh strawberries and serve.

For those holiday mornings, try this easy recipe.
1 (8oz) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1 pound pork sausage, cooked and well drained
2 Cups shredded mozzarella cheese
4 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup milk
Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 400
In a 13x9 baking dish, spray generously with vegetable cooking spray, spread crescent rolls to cover the bottom of the dish (keep the crescent rolls together, do not separate them). Sprinkle sausage and cheese, evenly, over rolls.
Combine eggs and milk, beating well. Pour mixture over sausage and cheese. Bake for 25-35 minutes or until set. Remove from oven and allow to stand for 5 minutes, cut … (5 comments)

This is such a easy recipe and you can use other fruits that are in season. In the summer I pick blackberries and use them for this cobble. YUMMY!
1 Cup self-rising flour
1 Cup sugar
1 Cup milk
1 Stick of butter
1 large can of peaches (sliced)
Preheat oven to 350. Place stick of butter in 9x13 casserole dish. Let butter melt ( until sizzling). While butter is melting, mix flour, sugar and milk. Try to get all of the lumps out- a whisk is best for this. Pour mixture into butter. Pour peaches into this butter mixture.
