Catholics throughout the world will be celebrating Holy Week by participating in the EASTER TRIDUUM...The celebration of The Institution of The Holy Eucharist and The Priesthood on Holy Thursday, the commemoration of the death of the Lord on Good Friday, and The Easter celebration of the Resurrection of Our Lord on Easter Sunday... Of course, in keeping with the ancient Jewish tradition, the faithful will begin to celebrate Easter at sundown on Holy Saturday at The Easter Vigil Mass...!!! Jews are currently celebrating Passover, so there are many sacred events in which to participate this holiest of weeks... (6 comments)
