Fishing has never been a favorite pastime of mine, but my family LOVED fishing. Growing up, my parents would drag me and my siblings to a remote creek bank to spend the day in pursuit of supper. Both mom and dad enjoyed the sport. We grew up in a rural area with plenty of places to fish. I never knew if we were on a river, lake or creek, but you can bet my parents knew the best fishing hole.
