Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on our blessings, and November has become a time to "give back" to show appreciation and gratefulness to family, friends, and clients. The last Tuesday in November is designated Giving Tuesday, which is a global movement to show generosity to those around us. Typically speaking, our real estate business slows down in the fall and we have more time to devote to our favorite charities. There are plenty to choose from! December 1, 2015 is Giving Tuesday, a global day designated to giving back. #GivingTuesday A notice from a local charitable organization appeared in my Facebook feed last week that inspired me to challenge my readers and ActiveRain family. The non-profit center was soliciting items for their "school Christmas store. Picture frames, lotions, candles, toys, books... anything that a kid would like to give to their family". With the approaching holidays, schools throughout the country are in need of gently used clothing for pre-school and elementary aged children. Shelters need coats for the homeless.
