Under Ground Force has almost completed their new facility on Seltice Way in Post Falls, Idaho. They expect to have the new building finished by mid June and then they will start moving all the tools and machinery into the building, so production can start. A Grand Opening is being planned after every thing is in place and operational. So watch for that date, as I will publish the date in this blog as soon as I know.

Applications are coming in, and right now they have more applications then class space, so plans are being made to add a third shift. The highest percentage of applications are in the area of healthcare, followed closely by mechanics and manufacturing.
KTEC plans to be open for students from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm with evening hours open to adults.

Here it is December 28th and I couldn’t believe it, the temperature was 51 degrees at 8:00AM, as I was driving to work. What happened to winter? All the snow is gone here on the prairie in Post Falls, Idaho. We are going to be having rain this afternoon. Now I am very happy not to have to drive on compacted snow and ice, but I love looking at the snow on the fields and trees. Ednetics was the Research Park's very first tenant in 1998. Post falls, Idaho, is home to a very interesting company called ALK Abello. A leading producer of pharmaceuticals for allergy immunotherapy. They have about 70 employees and have built their facility on a 12.5 acre site in Riverbend Commerce Park just south of I90. Ground Force Manufacturing in Post Falls Idaho is making the news. Not only are they building a huge new manufacturing facility here in Post Falls but they are hiring for 150 jobs in Post Falls and 50 jobs in Plummer (just south of Coeur d'Alene).
