Wow what a fantastic event last evening as KTEC celebrated their Grand Opening with 500 guests. KTEC is the new technical-professional school in Rathdrum. Over 1000 students applied for the 280 spaces so to accommodate as many students as possible a third shift has been added allowing for 500 students to study here at KTEC.
Another very exciting announcement was the introduction of Robert & Nancy Roberts of Caldwell Idaho from Steel Building Systems. Monday August 27th is the big day for KTEC! Grand Opening celebration starts at 4:30pm. In today ‘s CdA Press there is a whole section about how KTEC (Kootenai Technical Education Campus) came to be and the many businesses that have given time and equipment to this new school. Come and see this newest addition to our community. Tours will be available at 5:00 PM on Monday. KTEC is located in Rathdrum, corner of Meyer Rd and Lancaster.
