KTEC will be having their Grand Opening on Monday August 27 at 4;30pm. This is an exciting event and you will not want to miss it. This school has been so well received and needed here in our community. They have had so many applicants that they have added a second shift and even evening classes for adults.
This facility is located in Rathdrum at Meyer & Lancaster roads. The buildings have been completed and the process of bringing in and installing the equipment has begun. This kind of project truly brings all of our communities together.

Odds of winning a prize are 1 in 10! When and Where? PostFalls Chamber is hard at work preparing for another big night as the time is fast approaching for another Business Fair out at Greyhound Park, on April 19th. This event will have almost 100 booths from our local businesses. North Idaho College will be there with their Culinary School and their new program for Estheticians will also have students there. Mini workshops were a big hit last year and they are back again this year, plus they are free.
One of our local restaurants, Applebee’s, is helping out with fundraising for the Cardinals women’s basketball team from North Idaho College. The restaurant generously lets the basketball team come in and serve breakfast to their supporters and the team gets to keep roughly 75% of the proceeds collected. What a great community sponsor! Julia, who plays center and is from Helsinki Finland, is over here on a sports scholarship. She is in the picture with two of my grandsons and they are obviously enjoying themselves! In North Idaho we are blessed to be part of such a caring community. … (0 comments)
