Whether you are looking for real estate in Salida Colorado or Buena Vista or just looking for a great place to soak while you are visiting, Mt. Princeton hotsprings is a must see.
Mt Princeton has lodging, a nice retaurant, conference rooms, private pools if you are a guest, public pool/lap pool, a nice and hot soaking pool and ...drum roll.... Chalk Creek.
The hot water comes up all along Chalk Creek. Many residents have the geothermal water on their property. They use if for heat, their own soaking or swimming pools, greenhouses, and more.

Come soak or swim in the Salida Pool
Our area is known by hot springs enthusiasts for lots of soaking places...some very primitive and some quite elegant.
The closest to Salida is actually right in town. Fed by a hot springs just out of town, the soaking pool and lap pool are a joy. You can come in for the day for $8, join for 6 months (winter season) for $130, lap swim in the morning for $5 and more.
