When I attend regional and National real estate events, I leave a bit discouraged. Over 90% of the nation is in full recovery, with very low market times, multiple offers and significant price increases. Agents complain of lack of inventory. My sellers want that!! We generally follow suite with Denver in about 12-18 months. It has been 24 months and we are in a "tepid" market. Salida Colorado Home Prices for October 31, 2013 Salida Residential market activity is comprised of two distinct types of homes... those in town and those in the surrounding areas. Therefore, we divide them into two categories, homes with acreage (HWA) refer to homes that are sitting on an acre or more and residential (RES) are generally homes in town...sitting on less than an acre. We are a small MLS in a small resort town of Salida CO. The board represents several small towns around us. Our prices are a bit high for such a small Colorado River town, but we are a budding resort town... which keeps things elevated a bit. Based on the following numbers, it looks as if there is a very tentative increase in sales since 2009. In my next post, however, I will reveal the next part of the story... what is selling.
