Most folks consider waiting until spring to begin their search in our area, or to pick it back up again. Snow, roads, delayed flights and cold temps can be daunting.
First of all, we are in Southern Colorado and in the Banana Belt. Temperatures here are milder than anywhere in Colorado, even in the winter.

The Salida Steam Plant has been around since 1887 and was the Salida Edison Electric building. Now, it is a hub for music, plays, art exhibits and more.

A new exhibit, Wild Flowers: An Interpretation by Two Green-Eyed Blonds will open with wine and hors d’oeuvres from 5-7 pm on Saturday, 3/24.
