TO QUOTE Seth Godin: ...."SMALL IS THE NEW BIG" and here in Historic Southampton Village is where you can find a treasure trove of the most interesting and affordable of the smaller houses that still exist in the Hamptons. Of course Seth Godin was writing about the new trends in Corporate America, but the same thinking can be applied and maybe even attributed to the "efficiency" trends of Green building and to the "graying" of America.

I was just posting a response to a blog about a book on Great Lakes Berries, by Eric Kodner, when I had a recollection of a summer in Michigan that I will never forget.
