When I wrote my featured post "THE CASE AGAINST ZESTIMATES--CASE CLOSED??" in June of 2018, I never dreamed I would be where I am now: I have written at least 5 posts since giving a rundown on how the big sites Z, T, and R are going after our livelihoods.
As real estate agents and brokers, working our "farms" or niches to bring in listings in a responsible manner and seeing to it that we are keeping our fiduciary commitments to our clients, we are now heading to the "endangered species" list.

WHY DO YOU PAY BIG BUCKS FOR INTERNET LEADS??...A Need to Know..
I am going to ask you 4 questions. You may not see the importance of the answer to these questions right now, but you will soon, maybe even at the end of this post! Please do not think these are trick questions---these are being asked because we NEED TO KNOW what is driving the trend of agents who are paying for leads and in the process, destroying the very profession they are part of.

HOW DO YOU ENTER CO-EXCLUSIVES ON TRULIA AND ZILLOW???
After all the troubles that agents report over the sites Trulia and Zillow, many of the agents here in the Hamptons have decided to get on board, in spite of all the hoopla.
After I saw my former home and my listing appear as if the co-exclusive agent had an exclusive on it on Trulia, Zillow and Streeteasy, I decided that I needed to get on board as well--if nothing more than just to get the credit for what was my listing originally.
So, I went on all three sites and uploaded my beautiful (and expensive!!!) photos, wrote correct … (3 comments)

TODAY, I DELETED A POST FOR THE FIRST TIME....Full disclosure as to why:
I did it because it became an unimaginable monster. It became a monster because in the process of going back and forth with an individual, or rather 2 individuals, I could see the writing on the wall and the subject matter became something I never ever thought I would be tackling at this point in my career: the ethical treatment of the private information about a client or customer.
