Writing a book is sort of like giving out a huge chunk of your inner self to the world. It can be very frightening, intimidating and a little daunting. I have been wanting to publish my work for some time yet kept on listening to the negative and non-serving beliefs in my head.

For many years I have been wanting to write a book and have been encouraged by many to do so. Although I absolutely love writing, for some reason writing something so very personal has been a challenge at best! I found every excuse in the world to be too busy to sit down and write it!

One of Active Rain's own bloggers now has a book out that he has written about living with pain. Dr. Gordon Selley who is married to our own Cherise Selley, wrote and recently released this book.
