With the advent of home improvement shows, many people jumped on the bandwagon thinking a project was "do-able" only to find themselves overwhelmed, over-budget, and over IT! buying homes: Dear Builder, Please Respect My Role - 02/17/18 10:11 AM
Dear Builder, Please Respect My Role
This post is in response to the home builders out there who flippantly try and cut real estate agents out of their hard-earned paychecks. We as real estate agents who are working tirelessly with our clients, don't work for free. There are many, many hours behind the scenes consulting, preparing, sending out market data, seeking the perfect home, and making appointments, that many do not … (29 comments)

I EARNED A NEW CLIENT BECAUSE I ANSWERED MY PHONE ON SUNDAY

buying homes: SEEING THE HOME IN THE DARK MADE A HUGE DIFFERENCE! - 07/23/11 02:22 AM
SEEING THE HOME IN THE DARK MADE A HUGE DIFFERENCE!

Recently I had buyers who pulled out of a contract near the end of their option period after taking the time to go by the property at night.  They called me early the next morning to let me know that on a whim they decided to drive out and take a look after dark.  What they discovered made a world of difference.
The home was lovely, completely renovated inside and on three lovely acres.  Originally there had been some concern that the property backed up to a pretty busy road.  … (8 comments)
