We have had a very challenging week in our little, Texas town this week. Today, I wanted to reflect on what is truly important. There are things that can take away our joy if we allow them to overshadow the most important things in our lives. LIFE ~ Each day that we wake up, we have another opportunity to make a difference. We can choose to waste the day mired in negativity or, we can choose to have a joy-filled attitude. Have you ever been so focused on a situation that you completely lost sight of the mission or the lesson? A great example is found in the Bible in John 5 when Jesus asks the paralyzed man if he wants to be healed. When Jesus heals the man, the religious leaders are appalled because the healing took place on the Sabbath. These religious leaders completely MISSED the miracle because they were focused on other things. I use this example as I see this played out in life all of the time.
