However, your body is THE most important machine in your life! It's odd how often people care more for their cars than they do for their own bodies. CAN YOU SPARE 30 MINUTES TO SAVE A LIFE? This is a fantastic message that everyone needs to hear. The life that you will be saving is your own! Can you spare just 30 minutes to make a lifetime of difference for your health? Take just 9 minutes to watch this video. The message is simple, clear and yes - easy to do. Not everyone has to get out there and run marathons. That is only for the nutty people like myself! :) However, everyone CAN do 30 minutes and make a major impact on their health. How About a 30 Day Challenge to Get Up and MOVE? I have seen all sorts of challenges posted here on Active Rain in the past. After reading Larry Lawfler's post this morning on Focus & Exercise, his post inspired me to pose this challenge. First of all, many of you know my tremendous challenge this summer of having a large lung tumor removed. The surgery itself was very difficult and the recovery extremely painful and debilitating. THE WOODLANDS, TX - OVER 180 MILES OF TRAILS! If you are a resident of The Woodlands, Texas, you are well aware of the many miles of trails that wind throughout our community. The trails go from every section of The Woodlands allowing ease of getting to and from the parks, shopping, lakes and schools. The trails are wide enough for bicycles as well as walkers and joggers to easily pass one another. The trails are also very well maintained by the community association keeping them free of debris and making necessary repairs when needed. The trails wind gracefully through (6 comments)
