A conversation I have with many new agents is reminding them that the business of real estate is NOT about them. I am not sure when the "vanity" of marketing oneself in real estate became quite, "glamour shot-ish". Many agents take to social media and the focus is on themselves. While we need to tout our expertise and how we can assist our clients, when the focus becomes self-centered, the ego of this business takes over. Embracing CHANGE ~ Life Depends on it! Recently I needed to make some major changes regarding the direction of my business. As I carefully made decisions, conclusions and course of my business, it was very clear that the direction I needed to go. Therefore, change is happening.
As a former Biology teacher, one of the very first lessons I taught my students was that in order for something to be considered "living" it must be constantly changing. For instance, if our cells were not in a constant state of change, they would actually die. Therefore, change is essential to life!

No One Achieves Success Alone! This is a 100% true statement! None of us achieves any success in this life without the help from others. I am weary of hearing so many beat their own drum that "they" did something to get to the top all on their own effort.
While many possess the self-starting qualities of grit, determination and stamina, they still had some help along the way.
