Just completed another Texas Realtors® Conference held in Ft. Worth, Texas also known as Cowtown! For four, straight days, leaders from all over our great state met to continue to improve, innovate, and implement this great profession of real estate. The conference is energizing as well as informative. Having now completed my 18th state conference, I still show up and stay involved because there is always something to learn, the relationships from all over the state are essential, and it is a commitment to excellence that my clients deserve. GRI - Let Me Tell You Why! Graduate_realtor_institute, the designation many real estate agents aspire to achieve. Why is this? First of all, the dedication and time commitment in order to earn the designation is intensive. Agents who put in the time to complete all three of the modules, have invested valuable time in order to complete the requirements.
No matter how long an agent has been in the business, continuing education, working on designations and certifications is something that should never cease. Cowtown Welcomes Texas REALTORS® Association Last week, Realtors from all over the state of Texas descended upon my neighbor city, Fort Worth. This great city is more commonly known as Cowtown. Fort Worth welcomed us all with a friendly smile and in grand style.
I bet you are wondering where the term Cowtown came from? Way back in the day of the Chisholm Trail of herding the cattle from the south up to the north, Fort Worth was a critical last stop before heading into Indian territory. Check out the link for some really cool and interesting history.
