central florida real estate: What Should I Do to Prepare my Home for Sale? - 06/18/18 11:07 AM
Start by finding out its worth. Contact an agent for a comparative market analysis, an informal estimate of value based on the recent selling price of similar neighborhood properties. Or get a certified appraiser to provide an appraisal.
Next, get busy working on the home’s appearance. You want to make sure it is in the best condition possible for showing to prospective buyers so that you can get top dollar. This means fixing or sprucing up any trouble spots that could deter a buyer, such as squeaky doors, a leaky roof, dirty carpet and walls, and broken windows.
The “curb appeal” of your … (1 comments)

Here’s how you can entice buyers by improving the appearance of your doors:
Entrance: If you have a storm door, make sure the glass is clean. Or if a screen is installed, make sure it doesn’t have any rips or tears. Also, inspect the main doors leading to the house. There’s a good chance they could use … (0 comments)

Putting money in a Health Savings Account, or HSA, can help you and your family pay for health expenses now and in the future, while giving you a tax break for your contributions.
HSAs have been around since 2003 to help people with high-deductible health plans, but they can still be confusing. Here are some tips on how they work:

central florida real estate: Buying a Home When Your Spouse Has Poor Credit - 05/17/18 08:54 AM
Buying a home on two incomes can be difficult enough, but it can be even more demanding if one spouse has poor credit.
A poor credit score can make it difficult to qualify for a mortgage, leading to a higher interest rate on a home loan. A spouse with poor credit could be left off the loan application entirely, requiring the other person to have a high credit score and a high enough income to afford the loan on their own.
If a spouse with poor credit does qualify for a loan, the lender could require a bigger down payment on the house.
