home staging in edmonton: Marionette Master! Who Pulls Your Strings? - 07/04/11 04:23 PM
Marionette Master! Who Pulls Your Strings? Sometimes we feel like we have no control over a situation. Someone promises to do something and we take them at their word. Whether it's showing up, performing a task or even just calling back, we'd like to be able to count on whomever we've asked. How do you deal with someone who's yanked your chain and left you in the lurch? And how many times do you give them the benefit of the doubt? When is enough, enough?

Watch this video and you can decide who's in control...

Active Rain Got Me to Exercise! That's No Small Feat!Today I took a walk in my neighbourhood to take pix of our area.
Why? Because one of the benefits of going to RainCamp recently, other than all the other stuff I've been blathering on about, is; that Bob Stewart and AR gave everyone in attendance the ability to sponsor a community in their area! What a great thing to do!
I chose my neighbourhood in Edmonton; Dovercourt, because then I can write local  local posts and perhaps benefit some of the fine people who own businesses in the surrounding areas! We … (29 comments)

US Customs Made Me Miss My Flight Because My Name is Peg!So. Lets go back a few years, maybe (over) say, 45.

A lovely couple in Canada, who loved to jive and listen to Buddy Holly, were having a baby. She arrived two days after Christmas in the early 60's. This couple; let's call them Ron and Shirl, ('cause that's their names) wanted to call their daughter Peggy Sue after the song. But when they went to register the name Peggy Sue, some pencil necked, rule book lover, told them they had to use a proper name. Bobby had … (35 comments)

In 2009 we had our old- decrepit-flat roofed-used to be one-until someone made it a two-car-using 2x4 roof joists- that the home inspector wouldn't even walk into; garage demolished! Then we had a new two story (loft) garage built, will the intention of making the loft into a music studio!

AR Staff Rock! (I Got to Talk To Niki!) I recently wrote a post about human behaviour and understanding what your clients feel and why. I made it a members only post, because I thought it wouldn't really benefit the public. I received a comment from Lynn B Friedman, saying she would have liked to reblog my post for others to see, but couldn't. WT#?

home staging in edmonton: Friday Funnee! Veterinarians Make a Good Living! - 06/16/11 06:00 PM

One Sunday, in counting the money in the weekly offering, the pastor of a small church found a pink envelope containing $1,000. It happened again the next week!  The following Sunday, he watched as the offering was collected and saw an elderly woman put the distinctive pink envelope on the plate. This went on for weeks until the pastor, overcome by curiosity, approached her.

"Ma'am, I couldn't help but notice that you put $1,000 a week in the collection plate," he stated.  "Why, yes," she replied, "every week my son sends me money, and I give some of it … (28 comments)
