Making a Child's Room Flufftastic in Edmonton!I had the chance to stage a child's room this week and boy was it fun!A couple months ago I had come across some ladybug nesting file boxes and knew they'd be the perfect starting point for a kid's room.

Barbershop Choruses and quartets from Alberta, British Columbia, Oregon, Idaho, Washington and Montana will be judged in competition for an opportunity to participate in an international competition in Portland, Oregon in 2012.

What's For Dinner? Yummy Beet'nBean Soup! I received a present from my mom's garden this morning; a grocery bag full of beets! She makes beet pickles, but I don't, so what to do? I love soup, so that's the best alternative I can think of!
I peeled and chopped up some beets, onions and celery and threw them in a big pot! Added water and chicken stock.

Make Math Fun! Try Re-Tally-8! I've been told that you either have the 'math chip' or you don't. (You're either good at math or not) But it seems to me that nowadays people can't do the simplest forms of math even when it's necessary for their jobs. How many times have you seen the glassy eyed stare of someone trying to figure out how much change to give back from you're coffee?
I think part of the problem is; everyone has a calculator in their phone, so they don't bother trying to add or subtract.

They have monthly meetings, breakfast, luncheons and after works socials, and I will be attending as many as possible over the next few weeks.
