south fork co: South Fork CO Home Sales on the Rise

As the snow melts at Wolf Creek Ski area and begins to fill the Rio Grande River, home sales are on the rise in South Fork, Colorado. Through April 2011 there have been 8 closed home sales and 6 additional homes are under contract. This puts the market 27% ahead of one year ago. More good news....the average sale price is up 61% from the first 4 months of 2010. Most of the foreclosed properties have been sold which is helping to bring values back to their pre-recession levels. The prospect of higher interest rates is also motivating buyers to get busy.
