curb appeal: Curb their Enthusiasm! - 03/21/19 05:42 AM

Ever pulled up to the front of a home, and even before you leave your car, you fall in love with the home? How about just the opposite. You pull up to a home and decide to not even slow the car down. I call this a drive by. Something about the home just turned you off. It could be something you just can't put your finger on. Or it could be the car up on blocks in the front yard. Either way, these situations both involve what we in Real estate call Curb Appeal.
Curb Appeal has to do with how … (3 comments)

curb appeal: An appealing idea... - 11/27/18 05:03 AM
How does your home look from the street? Leaves in the gutters? Mail box a bit askew and in need of paint? Shutters missing, but only on one window? These are all items that fall under the category of "Curb Appeal".

curb appeal: Ouch, that hurt! - 08/26/12 10:27 PM
Yes it did. I have always said that exercise is bad for you. The problem is, every time I exercise I hurt afterwards. Is iot really worth the trouble? Somertimes it is, depending on what you are up to.
My exercise this weekend was working in the yard trimming bushes, mowing the yard, and cutting down two dead trees. Yes, I am sore today from the exertion, but what did I accomplish? The house looks much better from the outside. If I were selling my home, I would have created a better "Curb Appeal". Why is this important? I am glad … (32 comments)

curb appeal: Curb appeal - 05/02/12 12:15 AM
Why do we real estate agents always go on and on about curb appeal? What is this anyway? It is simply the look and feel one gets when looking at your home from the street. We are not talking specifically about whether or not there is actually a curb in front of your home. No. We are looking at the yard and the front of your home.
What got me thinking about this was my neighbor across the street. I have been watching him from my upstairs office put out fresh new mulch around all the beautiful plants in his front … (15 comments)
